Roup of Stewartfield property

FOR SALE.

There is to be Sold, by public roup, on Tuesday the 11th January curt.

THAT HOUSE, in the Village of STEWARTFIELD, belonging to GEORGE KEITH, possessed by Mr. Ballantine, Excise Officer.  The Sale to take place at 12 o'clock, forenoon; and, if not Sold, will be Let for the ensuing year.

The property will be shown by James Rickert, Stewartfield.

Five Friends of Garmouth

SHARE OF A SLOOP, AND HOUSEHOLD
FURNITURE, &C. FOR SALE.

There will be sold by public roup, at Garmouth, on Saturday the 18th day of December current, belonging to the deceased Mr. Alex. Cumming there,

ONE FIFTH PART of the Sloop called the FIVE FRIENDS of GARMOUTH, of about 55 Tons Register, conformably to Articles of Roup, which may be seen in the hands of R. Bain and P. Duff, jun. Writers in Elgin.

The whole HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE; two excellent and well-tried VIOLINS; MUSIC, and other Books; with a good Milk COW; some CORN in the Straw, and all his other moveable effects, will be sold at the same time; and by that period it is requested that all having Claims against him will lodge them with the Agents; and those Indebted to him will please to pay what they owe, to prevent prosecutions.

The Roup will commence at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, and credit will be given.

MORAYSHIRE,
VILLAGE OF GARMOUTH.

To be sold by public roup, on Tuesday the 11th January 1820,
if not previously disposed of by private bargain,

THE HOUSES in GARMOUTH, presently possessed by Mr Wm. Forsyth, with the GARDEN and LAND adjoining, consisting of between One and Two Acres.  This Property is pleasantly situated on the Head of the Bank, on the east side of the Village of Garmouth, and affords a fine situation for a House, commanding a prospect of the Enzie, of the River and Shipping in the Harbour of Spey, and of the Bay.

To be Sold also, at the same time, a PIECE of GROUND at the Mill of Garmouth, consisting of between Two and Three Acres.  Entry to both subjects at Whitsunday.

SALE OF CATTLE, HORSES, & SHEEP.

On Monday first the 1st November next, there is to be sold by public roup, at Easterside, near Stonehaven, belonging to James Barrie,

THIRTY CATTLE, consisting of Cows, Stots, and Queys, from one to three year-old, all fit for the butcher; several pairs of Oxen, trained to the Plough; Sixty Ewes, all fat, and will be sold in such lots as may suit purchasers; six excellent Work Horses; and one Riding Poney, seven years old.

The roup to begin at 10 o'clock forenoon; and credit will be given.

THE whole MOVEABLE PROPERTY, lately belonging to John Hatt, Vintner, now to Trustees for his Creditors - consisting of HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE - a HEARSE - a WORK HORSE - and Sundry articles of FARMING UTENSILS.

There will be exposed to sale, at the same time, (if not previously disposed of by private bargain) the HOUSES and GROUND in the Village of Longside, as formerly advertised; presently occupied by the said John Hatt, as an Inn.

There will be sold by public roup, within the Gordon Arms Inn, Huntly, upon Thursday the 5th day of August next, at 3 o'clock in the afternoon,

THAT PROPERTY fronting the Square, and HOUSE at the back thereof - with the whole Office-Houses, and Yard thereto adjoining, which formerly belonged to the deceased James Geddes, Merchant.   From the public situation, compactness, and accommodation of this property, it is well worth the attention of the public - as it can be always tenanted, affording the purchaser handsome interest for the money.

Application may be made to Alexander Stewart, writer in Huntly, who will show the property, and in whose hands are the title deeds.

ROUP OF FARM STOCKING, &c.

Upon Friday 21st of May curt. there will be exposed to sale by public roup,

THE whole STOCKING, upon the FARM of NETHER ORDLEY, in the Parish of Auchterless, belonging to William Pittendreigh - consisting of 3 good Work Horses, (one of them fit for the Saddle); and 2 excellent Draught Mares, both in Foal; 10 Cows in Calf; 10 three year-old Stots; 17 one and two year-old Stots and Queys; with a variety of Carts, Ploughs, Harrows, and Horse Harness; a Barn Fanner, and a Stone Roller; with the whole Household Furniture, and Dairy Utensils.

The roup to begin precisely at 10 o'clock, and credit to be given for nine months, upon granting proper security.

NOTICE to DEBTORS and CREDITORS,
AND ROUP OF GOODS, &c.

There will be sold by public roup, at Rosehearty,

THE whole STOCK of GOODS, formerly belonging to ROBERT STIRLING, Merchant there, now to Trustees for behoof of his Creditors - consisting of Cloths of great variety - Grocery Goods of all descriptions - Ironmongery - Dressed Hemp - Ropes - Crockery-ware, &c. - Also, his Shop and Household Furniture, including an Eight Day Clock, Chest of Drawers, Bedding, &c.  Credit on security.

Roup to begin on Monday the 3d of May next, at 10 o'clock forenoon, and continue till all be sold off. 

Those indebted to the said Robert Stirling, are desired to make immediate payment to Andrew Oldman, Merchant in Aberdeen, one of the Trustees, to prevent prosecution.  Such of the Creditors as have not lodged their claims, will please give them in to the said Andw. Oldman, without delay.

N.B.  The Trustees will treat with any person who may be inclined to purchase the whole Stock on or before Monday the 26th current.

ROUP, AND NOTICE TO DEBTORS
AND CREDITORS.

ALL those having Claims on the deceased JOHN SIM, in Sandstown of Eden, Parish of King Edward, are requested to meet at Sandstown, on Monday the 26th of October curt. when the whole Subject belonging to the Deceased, will be sold by public roup - consisting of some Stacks of Oats and Barley, with the Fodder; Turnips and Potatoes on the Ground; a Horse; two Cows; some Labouring Utensils and Household Furniture.

The roup to begin at 11 o'clock forenoon.

And those who stand indebted to the deceased, are requested (within one month from this date) to pay what they owe to Capt. James Reid, at Inverichny, who is authorised to receive the same, and grant discharges.

CHRYSTALL, consisting of THREE excellent WORK HORSES, FOUR fine WORK OXEN, FIVE COWS, some of which are near the Calving; a number of YOUNG STOTS and QUEYSs, of one, two, and three years old; the whole FARM UTENSILS and HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE, BEDS, BLANKETS, BED and TABLE LINEN, &c, &c.

THE whole of that PROPERTY, which belonged to the late Wm. Harvey, Dyer, situated on the east side of the Square, and presently occupied by James Cruickshank, Merchant, and others, consisting of Two Shops, with Cellar below, Five Rooms, a Kitchen, two Closets, and Garrets.

The centrical situation of this Subject makes it well worth the attention of any person in a public line.

A SHARE of the HUNTLY TURNPIKE ROAD will be disposed of at the same time, if not previously sold by public bargain.

Wester Micras, parish of Crathie

LANDS TO BE SOLD.

To be sold by public roup, on Friday the 16th October next, within Mr Anderson's New Inn, Aberdeen, at two o'clock afternoon,

THE Just and Equal HALF pro indiviso of the LANDS of WESTER MICRAS with the Pertinents lying in the parish of Crathy, and county of Aberdeen, formerly belonging to the late John Erskine, portioner of Auchalater and Micras.  These Lands are pleasantly situated on the Dee, are of an early soil, and have right to an extensive common Pasturage, along with the neighbouring proprietors.

Entry to the Lands at Whitsunday first, when the price will be payable; the Upset Price will be small, and the Lands will be sold without reserve.

Causeyman's Croft, Aberdeen

LEASE OF A CROFT.

There will be exposed to be let by public roup, within the Trinity Hall, Aberdeen, on Friday the 4th September curt. at 5 o'clock in the evening,

A LEASE of that CROFT of LAND, belonging to the Trades Hospital, called CAUSEYMAN'S CROFT, as possessed formerly by William Garden, now by Mr John Saunders.  It lies along the east bank of the Canal, from the Bowl-road southward to the Canal Bridge; and a great part of it is at present laid out in convenient Bleach-greens.  Entry at Candlemas, 1820.

Apply to Geo. Jamieson, Jun. Tailor in Aberdeen, Master of the Trades Hospital, who will inform as to the conditions of roup.

Pirie's Mill, Huntly

LEASE OF A FARM FOR SALE

Upon Monday the fourth day of May next, there will be exposed to sale by public roup, within the house of Miss Mellis, Vintner in Huntly, at two o'clock afternoon,

THE REMAINDER of the LEASE of the FARM of PIRIE'S MILL, as occupied by Andrew Paterson, lately deceased, of which there are four years to run after Whitsunday next.  There are erected on the premises a Meal-mill, and Beating-mill, for Flax, &c.; and being situated in the immediate vicinity of Huntly, a considerable emolument may be derived therefrom.

The tenant, who must be approved of by his Grace the Duke of Gordon, will get access at Whitsunday first.

Public roup of Macduff feu

HOUSES IN MACDUFF FOR SALE.

There will be exposed for sale by public roup, within the house of Robert Mathieson, vintner in Macduff (if not previously disposed of by private bargain), upon Tuesday the 31st day of March current,

THAT FEU TENEMENT in MACDUFF, with the HOUSES built thereon, consisting of TWO commodious DWELLING HOUSES, presently occupied by John Innes, Shoemaker, and Alexander Henry.  A Barn and Byre, which, for a trifling expence, might also be converted into a Dwelling House - together with a small Garden, containing Fruit-trees &c.  The Houses are substantial, in good repair, and pleasantly situated.

The roup to begin at twelve o'clock noon, and, in the meantime, particulars may be obtained, by applying to George Dawson, Writer in Banff, in whose hands are the title-deeds; or to the said John Innes, who will show the Premises to intending purchasers.

Sale at Hattonburn, Banchory Ternan

SALE OF CATTLE AND SHEEP.

There will be sold by public roup upon Wednesday the 25th day of March current, (being the day before Midlentren Fair of Banchory), at Benjamin Lumsden's Farm of HATTONBURN, in the parish of Banchory Ternan,

600 BLACK-FACED SHEEP, of which 120, five-year old Wedders, have been turnip fed; 210 strong EWES, near Lambing; and about 270 four-year old WEDDERS.  Also, 8 FAT OXEN, and 10 WINTERING STOTS.  The Sheep having been on a superior Pasture all winter, are particularly worth the attention of Fleshers and Graziers.

A reasonable time will be allowed to remove the Fat Sheep; and Credit will be given on security.

The roup to begin at 10 o'clock forenoon.

THAT FEU in the KIRKTON of PETERHEAD, lately possessed by the said James Gillan, with the Mill Wrights Shop, New House, and Dye House built thereon. - The Feu contains 23 Falls, is excellently situated for carrying on business, and is worthy the attention of intending purchasers.
