Roup of Stewartfield property

FOR SALE.

There is to be Sold, by public roup, on Tuesday the 11th January curt.

THAT HOUSE, in the Village of STEWARTFIELD, belonging to GEORGE KEITH, possessed by Mr. Ballantine, Excise Officer.  The Sale to take place at 12 o'clock, forenoon; and, if not Sold, will be Let for the ensuing year.

The property will be shown by James Rickert, Stewartfield.

Public roup in Stewartfield

SALE OF SUBJECTS IN STEWARTFIELD.

Upon Monday the 16th day of February current, there will be exposed to sale by public roup, within the dwelling house aftermentioned, at one o'clock afternoon,

THAT DWELLING HOUSE in STEWARTFIELD presently possessed by George Legg, Confectioner, with the Offices and Yard at the back thereof, belonging to the Sequestated Estate of William Duguid, Manufacturer in Aberdeen.

Upset Price L. 42.

Francis Smith in Stewartfield, will shew the premises to intending purchasers; and for further particulars, application may be made to Alexander Webster, Advocate in Aberdeen, in whose hands are the title deeds.

Roup of property at Stewartfield

HOUSE FOR SALE IN STEWARTFIELD.

There will be sold by public roup, at Stewartfield, on Tuesday the 5th of October next, at 2 o'clock afternoon (if not previously disposed of by private bargain),

THAT FRONT HOUSE in the Village of Stewartfield, at present occupied by Wm. Thomson, measuring 45 feet in length, and containing two large rooms, two bed rooms, a kitchen, and garret; also a small House adjoining, consisting of one room, closet, and garret; with a Stable, Byre, Barn, Kiln, and a Garden stocked with fruit trees.  The purchaser will be entitled to a lease of six acres of ground, in good condition, attached to the property, at a moderate rent.

The house is substantially built, and such a desirable property is seldom to be met with.  Further particulars will be learned by applying to the proprietor, William Thomson, Stewartfield, or James Matthews, shoemaker, Aberdeen.

BUCHAN WRIGHTS SOCIETY

Upon Monday 15th August was held at the Village of Stewartfield, the Annual Meeting of the Buchan Wrights Society, when after examining the books and state of the funds, which were found to be in a very flourishing state, they then proceeded to the election of Office-bearers for the ensuing year, when the following were duly elected:
ALEXANDER STEPHEN, Preses;
JAMES HENRIE, Vice-Preses;
ALEXANDER MITCHELL, Treasurer;
GEORGE SYMMERS, Clerk;
John Troup and James Duguid, Stewards; James Mair, Officer; John Abernethy, Alexander Fowlie, Jas. Findlay, John Prott, James Greig, William Connon, Jas. Rettie, Andrew Reid, John Sangster, Joseph Mackie, and Alexander Farquhar, Managers.  They then walked in procession through the village, and dined, spending the afternoon in the most sociable manner.
