FURNITURE, &C. FOR SALE.

There will be sold by public roup, at Garmouth, on Saturday the 18th day of December current, belonging to the deceased Mr. Alex. Cumming there,

ONE FIFTH PART of the Sloop called the FIVE FRIENDS of GARMOUTH, of about 55 Tons Register, conformably to Articles of Roup, which may be seen in the hands of R. Bain and P. Duff, jun. Writers in Elgin.

The whole HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE; two excellent and well-tried VIOLINS; MUSIC, and other Books; with a good Milk COW; some CORN in the Straw, and all his other moveable effects, will be sold at the same time; and by that period it is requested that all having Claims against him will lodge them with the Agents; and those Indebted to him will please to pay what they owe, to prevent prosecutions.

The Roup will commence at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, and credit will be given.

Roup at Andrewsford

ROUP OF

There are to be sold, by public roup, at Andrewsford, Fyvie, on Wednesday, the 4th day of June next, in virtue of a warrant from the Honourable the Sheriff of Aberdeenshire.

THE Work Horses, riding Poney, Cows, Stots, Calves, Carts, Ploughs, Threshing Mill, and whole Farm Stocking and Utensils, belonging to John Rainnie, farmer in Andrewsford, together with his whole Household Furniture.

The roup will begin exactly at 10 o'clock forenoon, as the whole must be sold off; and credit will be given. on good security.

SALE of EFFECTS,

THE whole EFFECTS belonging to ALEXANDER RANNIE, in Greecyhill of Brucklay,... consisting of Corn and Fodder, Cattle, a Work Mare, Implements of Husbandry, and Household Furniture, ... will be sold by public roup, by his Trustees, for behoof of his Creditors, at Greecyhill, on Tuesday the 7th curt. at 11 o'clock forenoon.  Credit on security will be given.

THE whole stock of goods, belonging to Alexander Muirden, Merchant at Greenbrae, consisting of Clothiery, Grocery, and Hardware, and also his Household Furniture.  The roup will begin precisely at 10 o'clock forenoon, on account of the shortness of the day.

All those having Claims against the said Alexander Muirden, are requested to lodge the same with Alexander Webster, Advocate in Aberdeen, agent for his Trustees; and those indebted to the said Alexander Muirden, are desired to pay the sums due by them, to the said Alexander Webster, or to John Brodie, Merchant in New Deer, within one month from this date to prevent expences.

Roup at Greenbog, Grange

ADVERTISEMENT.

There is to be sold by public roup, at Greenbog, in the parish of Grange, on Monday the 11th of October first,

THE whole SUBJECT that belonged to the deceased JOHN FORBES in Greenbog, consisting of sundry articles of HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE, and FARMING UTENSILS, as also all the CATTLE belonging to him, consisting of 13 three years old, 2 two years old, 1 one year old, a Cow, a Calf, and a Horse.

There is also to be let, for the remainder of the Season, the liberty of PASTURING on the Grass at CANTLY, rented by him; and also of the Grass Enclosure belonging to him at ABERLOUR.

The roup to begin at 12 o'clock noon; and credit to be given on finding sufficient security.

All those having Claims against the subject of the said John Forbes, are desired to lodge the same with Messrs Al. Thorburn in Drum, or John Grant, jun. in Auchenhove, his executors; and those who are indebted to him, will please pay the same to his said executors.

Sale at Balcairn

SALE OF FARM STOCKING AND UTENSILS,

HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE, &c.

On Tuesday the 10th day of November next, there will be sold by public roup, at BALCAIRN, near Oldmeldrum,

THE whole FARM STOCKING, UTENSILS, and FURNITURE which belonged to the late Mr GEORGE SHEPHERD.

The Farm Stocking consists of about 70 head of Cattle, from one to four years old; 8 Milch Cows, and a fine Bull, the whole in excellent condition, and of a superior breed.  Seven Work Horses, and a capital riding Poney.  The Farming Utensils are numerous, and of the best kinds, and some of them little the worse of the wear.  The Household Furniture consists of mahogany, dining, and tea tables, and chairs, a mahogany desk, and eight day clock; a tent bed and curtains, feather beds and blankets; bed and table linen; silver, table, tea, and punch spoons; carpets, grates, fenders, and fire-irons - with a great variety of other articles.

The roup to begin at 10 o'clock forenoon, precisely.

By Virtue of a Warrant from the Honourable the Sheriff of Banffshire.

On Tuesday the 16th day of July curt. there will be sold at the Dwelling House and Shop of JAMES INNES KNIGHT, Merchant in Portsoy,

HIS large and extensive STOCK of GOODS, consisting of CLOTHIERY, GROCERY, and GLASSWARE, &c.

There is also a large quantity of PORTER in Casks, TAR in Barrels, and a variety of Books, Toys, and Fancy Articles; together with the whole SHOP and HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE which belonged to the said Mr Knight - consisting of Beds, Carpets, Chairs, Tables, Bedding, Fire-irons, Glass, and China Ware; also a very fine PIANO FORTE, and a Calandering Machine of the best construction; with a great variety of other articles.

Credit will be given on security.

SALE OF GOODS AT PORTSOY

On Monday the 6th of May, there will begin to be sold by public roup at Portsoy, and continue every successive day till all is sold off,
THE whole STOCK of MERCHANT GOODS and HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE which belonged to the deceased WILLIAM LEMMON, Merchant there; consisting of Clothiery and Haberdashery in great variety; Teas; Sugars; Salt (a large quantity); and a general assortment of Groceries.  A considerable stock of Iron and Ironmongery articles forming one of the most extensive sales ever offered to the public in that part of the country, and well worth the attention of Merchants and others, as the whole must be rouped off without reserve.

The roup to begin precisely at 10 o'clock.

Inventories will be shewn, and information given by John Smith, writer in Banff, with whom or with James Knowles, Merchant in Aberdeen, Creditors are requested to lodge their claims, with affidavits.  Credit will be given.

All those indebted to Mr LEMMON, are desired to make payment to the said John Smith, before the 26th day of May first: as on that day a list of all the outstanding debts will be made up to be recovered by prosecution.

Mr Lemmon's Heritable Property will be sold, on a day to be named afterwards.

On Friday the 14th day of December curt. at 10 o'clock forenoon, there will begin to be sold by public roup, at the House and Shop of the late WILLIAM SIMPSON, Merchant in Banff,

THE WHOLE HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE and SHOP GOODS, which belonged to him, consisting of Beds, Tables, Chairs, and Eight-day Clock, &c. ; Teas, Sugars, Molasses, Porter and Strong Beer, Tobacco, Snuff, China, Stone, and Glass Ware ; a great number of Bottles; some excellent Dutch Flax, and a small quantity of Yarn ; with a vast variety of other articles, which cannot be comprehended in an advertisement.

The roup will be continued on the following day, until every article is sold off.

All those who have claims against the estate of the defunct, will please lodge the same, with oaths of verity thereon, in the hands of John Smith, Writer in Banff, as soon as possible ; and those indebted to the estate, are desired to make payment to the said John Smith, within one month from this date.
