BLEACHFIELD OF TURRIFF, TO LET.

THE BLEACHFIELD of TURRIFF, as presently occupied by D. and J. Pearsons; - the Houses and Machinery have lately been fitted up in the most complete and commodious manner, at a considerable expence.- the business has been on the increase for years past, and the Field in the highest repute.  The stream of Water, which besides being of a quality peculiarly well adapted for Bleaching is sufficiently powerful to command additional Machinery for other purposes, and combined with the Carding Mill, affords an opening for persons of that line of business, seldom to be met with.

Mains of Drum

FARM ON DEE-SIDE TO BE LET.

To be let, for such term of years as may be agreed on, and entered to at Martinmas next,

THE FARM of MAINS of DRUM - consisting of fifty Acres, or thereby; as at present possessed by James McGregor.

On this Farm a Public House has been long established, and from the situation, it might be continued by an active tenant, to considerable advantage.

Little Annochie, Old Deer

TO BE LET,

(In the Parish of Old Deer,)

THOSE parts of the LANDS of LITTLE ANNOCHIE, with the Limestone Quarry of Little Annochie - and privileges of fuel, and leet-peats annexed thereto.  All as presently in occupation of John Findlay.

Entry to the Quarry and Leet-peats, (which are already stacked) at Martinmas first; and to the Land at Whitsunday first.

From the terms of the expiring lease, the whole will be left in most favourable condition for the incoming tenant.

There will also be let, as an appendage to the above, if wished for, at Whitsunday 1821, the CROFT on Annochie, at present in possession of John Cock; which, from its vicinity, would be valuable for accommodation to labourers, and others employed about the Quarry.

Offers to be given in against the 5th of November, to William Scott, at Mains of Elrick; or to Duncan Davidson, Advocate in Aberdeen - either of whom will inform, in the mean time, as to farther particulars.

Ardo farm leases

FARMS AND CROFTS, TO LET,

On Tuesday the 26th of October current, at 11 o'clock forenoon, there will be let, at Mains of Ardo, in the parish of Belhelvie, for 19 years, from Martinmas first,

THE FARM of MILL of RANNIESTON, in the parish of Logie Buchan; as formerly possessed by John Stirling, and presently in the natural possession of the Proprietor, by whom it has been Summer-fallowed, Limed, and laid down in Grass. - The situation is most favourable, being only three miles distant from the Sea Port of Newburgh, to which there is access by excellent Roads.

The CROFT of SPARCRAIGS, in the parish of Belhelvie, as possess by William Gill; and five CROFTS of different sizes, on the Farm of CANAHARS, in saud parish, all good land, and a considerable portion of it Old Infield.  These Crofts have an abundant supply of Moss in the immediate vicinity.

If more agreeable to the tenants, the entry to the Crofts may be at Whitsunday next.

As also to be Let, at same time, entry at Martinmas first, for the endurance of two lives, the CROFT of GROVEBUTTS, in the parish of New Machar, as formerly possessed by Peter Rae.

George Will, Overseer at Ardo, will out out the boundaries of the different possessions.

Pitcarry Farm

FARM IN KINCARDINESHIRE.

To be let, for such number of years as may be agreed upon, from and after Martinmas next, 1819.

THE FARM of PITCARRY, at present occupied by David Bell, and lying with a mile of the town of Bervie.  It consists of 488 Acres of Arable and Pasture Ground, has a fine exposure, and is conveniently situated for roads and markets.  The soil is good, and fit for all sorts of crops.  It is proposed to let this land in one or two farms, as may suit offerers.

Upon Friday the 13th day of August next, at 12 o'clock noon, there will be exposed to sale, by way of Feu, within the Poor's Hospital of Aberdeen,

ALL and WHOLE the TOWN and LANDS of EAST COOKSTON, belonging to the Kirk Session of Aberdeen, lying within the parish of Banchory Devenick, and county of Kincardine; as presently occupied by Alex. Carr, William Leonard, and others.

This property contains 98 acres, 1 rood, and 22 falls, besides 19 acres, 1 rood, and 200 falls of Moss.  The Turnpike road from Aberdeen to Stonehaven passes through the property, which is distant about six miles from the former, and about 8 miles from the latter. - The leases expire at Martinmas 1820, at which term the purchaser will get access to the whole premises, with the exception of a small possession, occupied by William Leiper, on a life-rent tack.

CAPITAL FARM,

To be Let for Twenty-seven Years,

THE United FARMS of GOVEL and PLACE of GOVEL (or if more agreeable, they will be divided), as now occupied by William Valentine, containing 320 Scots Acres of which 130 are presently under proper cultivation, finely situated on the northern bank of the River Don, within 6 miles of Aberdeen by the turnpike road, and in the immediate vicinity of the Canal Basin at Bridge of Dyce.

To a Gentleman farmer, the Place of Govel would form a desirable residence; whilst the Houses upon Govel, in the centre of the farm, might accommodate his labourers and cattle. -- The uncultivated grounds, which are connected, could be brought into tillage at a moderate expence.  The North and South mail Coaches pass daily by the turnpike.

THE FARM of WESTERTOWN, as presently occupied by Walter Jamieson, consisting of about 80 Acres, the greater part of which is arable; and there is a Dwelling House, and suitable Offices on the premises.

ALSO,

The FARMS of WHITELEY and WATTSTACK, either together or separately, as offerers may incline.  These are at present in the natural possession of the proprietor, in a high state of cultivation, and mostlyl in Grass.  They consist of 80 Acres arable, besides an extensive range of Pasture.

Also, the FARM of BRUMBLEBURN, as lately possessed by the deceased George Brebner, consisting of about 50 Acres arable, besides an extensive Pasture, in a high state of cultivation, and mostly in Grass.

McGRIGOR and JOHN CRAN, Shoemakers in Muir of Rhynie, will please make payment of what they owe to them, at, or before the term of Martinmas first; and all those who have not settled their last half-year's Accounts, and fail to comply with this intimation, a prosecution will be raised against them.

Farm of Rosyburn, Alvah

FARMS AND CROFTS TO LET.

To be let, and entered to at Martinmas, 1818,

THE Mains, Manor-Place, and Gardens of ROSYBURN, presently possessed by John Morison, lying in the parish of Alva, and county of Banff; within 5 miles of the sea-port towns of Banff and Macduff, to which there is access by turnpike roads.  The Farm consists of about forty acres, good arable land, and about sixty of improveable pasture; and grass, for cutting, in the adjoining plantations.

There is a Mansion-House on the premises, which might be repaired at a moderate expence; and one large and elegant Room, with bow windows, in good repair, which might be converted into a Cottage.  The Gardens are extensive, and there is a considerable extent of fruit wall.

The place is well sheltered, and pleasantly situated, and would make a desirable residence for a gentleman; to whom, or an improving tenant of capital, every encouragement will be given, and more land may be afterwards added, if required.  There are also some other Possessions to let.

Offers will be received, and all necessary information communicated, by Mr Young, Writer in Banff; and the boundaries and marches will be pointed out by George Skinner, ground-officer, at Rosyburn.

Old Town of Carnaveron

THE Farm of OLD TOWN of CARNAVERON, as presently possessed by Samuel Simpson, will be Let for 19 years after Martinmas next, and to be entered to at that term. - It consists of about 100 Acres of Arable Land, and a quantity of Pasture, partly improveable.  The Lands have a south and south west exposure, and lie along the banks of the Lochell.  A favourable entry may be expected, and every other encouragement to a respectable tenant will be given.

Easter Kirktown, Skene

A MOST CAPITAL FARM

In the Parish of Skene, to Let.

EASTER KIRKTOWN, at present possessed by Robert Wylie, is to be let for such number of years as may be agreed upon.  The Skene turnpike passes thro' it, between 8 and 9 miles from Aberdeen.  The soil is early, and well adapted for bringing up weighty crops of Wheat, Barley, and Turnip. - Having been 23 years in the Proprietor's possession, he spared no pains in fencing it, and bringing it into high cultivation.  - The farm consists of upwards of 100 Acres, enclosed in 24 fields, with water mostly in each, fit for grazing Cattle.

There is a good Dwelling House, and Steading of Offices, consisting of 2 Barns, 4 Byres, a Stable, and Grain Lofts.  If the taxman should require more land, he may have from 30 to 40 acres additional.  The Lands are bound to no Mill, and there is plenty of Moss attached to them.  It is seldom that such a farm is to be met with.  Entry at Martinmas 1816.

Tillyskeith, Maryculter

FARMS TO LET.

Parish of Maryculter, and County of Kincardine.

THE East division of the farm of WESTER TILLYSKEITH, or WESTSIDE, as lately occupied by David Esson.

The Farm of EASTER TILLYSKEITH or EASTSIDE, as lately possessed by George Esson.

These farms are immediately adjoining, and may be let either separately, or as one farm.  They contain 100 acres of arable Land, and a great extent of highly improvable pasture.  The soil is strong and early, they have the advantage of easy access by good roads to Aberdeen and Stonehaven, and are distant from the former about nine, and the latter about six miles.  To substantial improving tenants, these farms would be an object, but if preferred, they will be let as one, according to their present divisions.

The Croft in Eastside, at present occupied by William Gordon, is also to be let, and is a good situation for an industrious tenant.

They will be let, for such number of years, as may be agreed on, and entry may be had immediately, or at Martinmas next.

A day will be afterwards fixed for letting; and in the meantime application may be made to Mr Hay of Monkshill, Fyvie, or Charles Chalmers, advocate, Aberdeen, and Charles Raitt, grieve, at Maryculter House, will point out the boundaries.
