Leases in Maryculter

MILL AND CROFTS TO LET.

THE following POSSESSIONS belonging to William Gordon, Esq. of Fyvie, situated in the parish of Maryculter, and county of Kincardine, are to be let for nineteen years, at Maryculter House, upon Wednesday the 21st day of July next.

The MILL of CRYNOCH, as at present possessed by James Dunbar; attached to the Mill there is a KILN, convenient Croft, and a suitable Dwelling House and Steading of Offices, and from the local situation of the Mill, an industrious and good Miller may command considerable employment.

The CROFT on BURNSIDE, as occupied by James Hutcheon.  This croft is of a convenient size for Labourers or Tradesmen, and has also a good Dwelling House and Offices.

The CROFT of MUIRSKIE, as lately occupied by Alexr. Low.  Besides the Arable Land, there is a considerable Range of Pasture belonging to it, which might be turned to great advantage.

Entry to these Possessions may be had immediately, or at Martinmas next, and farther information may be had, by applying to the Proprietor at Maryculter House, or Charles Chalmers, Advocate in Aberdeen.

Farm Leases in Maryculter and Fetteresso

FARMS AND CROFTS TO LET.

The following POSSESSIONS, belonging to WILLIAM GORDON, Esq. of Fyvie, in the parishes of Maryculter and Fetteresso, are to be let for 19 years, entry immediately, viz.

THE Farm of EASTSIDE, lately possessed by David and George Esson.

That Part of the Farm of WESTSIDE, as lately occupied by Alex. Middleton.

The Croft of GREENS of CRYNOCH, as lately occupied by John McDonald.

AND,

The Two Crofts on ROTHNICK, parish of Fetteresso, as lately occupied by Andrew Leiper.

These Lands are susceptible of much improvement - the soil is in general good; and to industrious tenants the Proprietor will afford suitable encouragement.

Should tenants prefer it, the Farm of Westside will be divided into smaller Possessions.

These lands will be let at the House of Maryculter, on Monday the 3d of February next, at 11 o'clock; and in the mean time, application may be made, for further particulars, to Chas. Chalmers, Advocate in Aberdeen; and Charles Raitt, Overseer at Maryculter, will point out the boundaries.

Tillyskeith, Maryculter

FARMS TO LET.

Parish of Maryculter, and County of Kincardine.

THE East division of the farm of WESTER TILLYSKEITH, or WESTSIDE, as lately occupied by David Esson.

The Farm of EASTER TILLYSKEITH or EASTSIDE, as lately possessed by George Esson.

These farms are immediately adjoining, and may be let either separately, or as one farm.  They contain 100 acres of arable Land, and a great extent of highly improvable pasture.  The soil is strong and early, they have the advantage of easy access by good roads to Aberdeen and Stonehaven, and are distant from the former about nine, and the latter about six miles.  To substantial improving tenants, these farms would be an object, but if preferred, they will be let as one, according to their present divisions.

The Croft in Eastside, at present occupied by William Gordon, is also to be let, and is a good situation for an industrious tenant.

They will be let, for such number of years, as may be agreed on, and entry may be had immediately, or at Martinmas next.

A day will be afterwards fixed for letting; and in the meantime application may be made to Mr Hay of Monkshill, Fyvie, or Charles Chalmers, advocate, Aberdeen, and Charles Raitt, grieve, at Maryculter House, will point out the boundaries.

Farms & Crofts in Maryculter

FARMS AND CROFTS TO LET.

To be let, and entered to at Martinmas or Whitsunday next, the following Farms and Crofts on the estate of Maryculter, in the county of Kincardine, viz.

BOGFON, lately possessed by Robert Thomson.

MUIRSKIE, possessed by William Malcolm.

CROFT of BOGFON, adjoining ditto.

BURNSIDE, lately possessed by Widow Tait.

Part of EASTSIDE, possessed by John Barclay and Widow Strachan; And

CROFT of WEETSHAW, possessed by David Smith.

The above Farms and Crofts, from their local advantages, being only distant 8 or 9 miles from Aberdeen and Stonehaven, are worthy the attention of industrious tenants of skill and capital, to whom every encouragement will be given.  The extent of some of them is very considerable; and they principally consist of a strong rich soil, highly improvable.

They will be let at Maryculter House, upon Saturday the 16th of October next; and in the meantime, application may be made fur further particulars, and offers given in, to Mr Hay at Fyvie, factor on the estate, or to Charles Chalmers, advocate in Aberdeen; and Archibald Abernethy, at Burnside, will point out the grounds and boundaries.
