Edingight farm leases

FARMS IN GRANGE TO LET.

On Saturday the 24th day of April, at 11 o'clock forenoon, there will be Let at Edingight, for 19 Years, from Whitsunday next,

THE FARM of EASTER CROYLIT, as presently occupied by Alex. Wilson, consisting of upwards of 50 Acres, exclusive of Common Pasture.

Also, the FARM of BRAMBLEBURN, as possessed by the late George Brebner, of about 53 Acres or thereby.

For further particulars, application may be made to the Proprietor; and Robert Raffen, Ground Officer, will shew the marches.

On the same day, Contractors are desired to lodge ESTIMATES for inclosing a Field of about 10 Acres, with a Stone Fence, Trenching some Ground, and Casting a variety of Drains.          One Concern.

FARMS TO BE LET,

ON THE ESTATE OF EDINGIGHT.

In the parish of Grange and County of Banff, for such number of years as may be agreed upon,

THE FARM of WESTERTOWN, as presently occupied by Walter Jamieson, consisting of about 80 Acres, the greater part of which is arable; and there is a Dwelling House, and suitable Offices on the premises.

ALSO,

The FARMS of WHITELEY and WATTSTACK, either together or separately, as offerers may incline.  These are at present in the natural possession of the proprietor, in a high state of cultivation, and mostlyl in Grass.  They consist of 80 Acres arable, besides an extensive range of Pasture.

Also, the FARM of BRUMBLEBURN, as lately possessed by the deceased George Brebner, consisting of about 50 Acres arable, besides an extensive Pasture, in a high state of cultivation, and mostly in Grass.

The above Farms are to be Let at the House of Edingight, on Saturday the 4th of July.  Entry to the above Farms on the day or letting or at Martinmas next.

Drumnagorrach Farm

GRANGE.

FARM TO LET.

Entry immediately, or at Whitsunday first, and for such num-

ber of years as may be agreed on,

DRUMNAGORACK, possessed by the heirs of John Nicolson.  The present rent is £25, on a lease which commenced in 1804.

Should the entry not take place till Whitsunday, Land and Dung for Turnips will be given at a fair price, and also the fields under sown grass, if the new Tenant inclines.

The farm will be found in good order, and very conveniently situated.  Candidates will please attend at Knock, on Monday the 26th February curt.

FARM TO LET ON THE ESTATE OF EDINGIGHT, BANFFSHIRE.

THE Farm of CROYLET, as lately possessed by John Low, consisting of about 50 acres arable land, and pasture, is to be Let for such number of years as can be agreed upon. - There is a substantial and commodious Dwelling House, and suitable Offices on the premises; and the Farm, which commands a south exposure, is in a high state of cultivation.  Entry may be had to the greater part of the farm and whole houses immediately, and to the remainder at the term of Martinmas first.  And Candidates will please attend at Edingight, on Wednesday the 7th September next, when the farm will be let.

Croylet, Edingight Estate

FARM TO LET ON THE ESTATE OF EDINGIGHT, BANFFSHIRE.

THE Farm of CROYLET, as presently possessed by JOHN LAW, will be Let on a Lease of Nineteen years from Whitsunday first.  Entry will be given to the Arable Land and Pasture immediately, and to the Houses at Whitsunday next. - The Farm contains 50 acres of Arable Land, or thereby; and there is an excellent Dwelling House and suitable Offices on the premises.

The boundaries of the Farm will be pointed out by GEORGE DONALD, ground officer at Edingight, and offers will be received, and every information given by Mr INNES, the proprietor, or WM. GORDON, writer in Keith, betwixt and Wednesday the 27th current, on which day the Farm will be Let at Edingight, where candidates are requested to attend.

FARM TO LET ON THE ESTATE OF EDINGIGHT, BANFFSHIRE

THE FARM of WATTSTACK, WHITELEY, and GAROSTACK, as presently occupied by William Wilson, will be Let together, or separately, as offerers may incline, for such number of years as may be agreed on.

Offers will be received by the Proprietor, or William Gordon, Writer in Keith, till Thursday the 9^th December next, on which day the Farm will be Let at Edingight.

Liberal allowances will be given for Houses, Enclosing, and Draining; and industrious and improving tenants will meet with every other encouragement.

None need apply who are not properly recommended.

Roup at Greenbog, Grange

ADVERTISEMENT.

There is to be sold by public roup, at Greenbog, in the parish of Grange, on Monday the 11th of October first,

THE whole SUBJECT that belonged to the deceased JOHN FORBES in Greenbog, consisting of sundry articles of HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE, and FARMING UTENSILS, as also all the CATTLE belonging to him, consisting of 13 three years old, 2 two years old, 1 one year old, a Cow, a Calf, and a Horse.

There is also to be let, for the remainder of the Season, the liberty of PASTURING on the Grass at CANTLY, rented by him; and also of the Grass Enclosure belonging to him at ABERLOUR.

The roup to begin at 12 o'clock noon; and credit to be given on finding sufficient security.

All those having Claims against the subject of the said John Forbes, are desired to lodge the same with Messrs Al. Thorburn in Drum, or John Grant, jun. in Auchenhove, his executors; and those who are indebted to him, will please pay the same to his said executors.

Captain Alexander Robertson, Nethertown of Cairnie

NOTICE

To the CREDITORS of Captain ALEXANDER ROBERTSON, late tenant in Nethertown of Cairnie.

THE Trustees on the estate of the said Captain Robertson, request a Meeting of his Creditors, within the house of John Kelman, vintner in Nethermills of Grange, upon Monday the 9th day of March next, at 10 o'clock forenoon, when a final division of the funds remaining in the hands of the trustees will be made; and it is therefore expected that all concerned will either attend personally or empower others to receive their dividend, and discharge the trustees.

And to enable the trustees to prepare a scheme of division of said funds among Captain Robertson's creditors, it is requested that such of them as have not lodged their claims,  properly vouched, in terms of former advertisements, will do so on or before the 1st day of March next, after which period, till the day of division, a state of Captain Robertson's affairs will lie in the hands of George Edward, Grange, one of the trustees, for the inspection of all concerned.  - Certifying those who fail to produce their claims as above, that they will not be entitled to any share of the funds in medio.

Grange Kirk Session Register, 1811

Grange Feby. 10th 1811.  Session met immediately after Publick Worship.  Sederunt Minister & Elders.  Compeared William Farquhar & Isobel Priest confessing themselves guilty of Antenuptial Fornication, profession their Repentance & craving to Absolved.  The Session granted their request & on account of their Marriage Modified their Penalty to 15/- which was accordingly Paid.  And after being sharply rebuked & earnestly exhorted they were absolved.
