NOTICE TO CREDITORS.

THE Funds realized from the Subjects of the now deceased DAVID BREBNER, late in Aberchirder, will be divided among his Creditors, immediately after the 24th day of January next. - and against that day, the whole of his Creditors are required to lodge their Claims, with Oaths of Verity thereon, in the hands of Messrs. George Alexander, Merchant in Banff; or Peter Findlater, Merchant in Aberchirder; and those who neglect to do so, will be cut out from the dividend.

NOTICE TO CREDITORS.

CATHARINE GORDON, Merchant in Aberchirder, having executed a disposition of her whole subjects and effects, in favour of Messrs. George Alexander, Merchant in Banff, and Peter Findlater, Merchant in Aberchirder, as Trustees for behoof of her Creditors: The Trustees request a Meeting of the Creditors, within the house of Peter Grant, vintner in Banff, upon Saturday the 14th day of February curt. at one o'clock afternoon, to consider a state of the bankrupt's matters, which they have prepared, and to give directions thereanent.  And it is further requested, that all persons having claims on her, will lodge the same, with oaths of verity, in the hands of the Trustees, within one month from this date.

Public roup in Foggyloan

NOTICE.

There will be sold by public roup, within the house of James Lobban, vintner, Foggyloan, upon the 26th day of December current, at 12 o'clock noon,

THAT PROPERTY in Foggyloan, belonging to JAMES MENNIE in Inverury, being situated in the immediate centre of the Town of Foggyloan, and fronting the Square, with three substantial Dwelling Houses, Barn and Byre.  They would answer well for Tradesmen or Merchants.  Part of the purchase money may be allowed to remain in the purchaser's hands for some time.

Property leases in Aberchirder

TO LET,

In the Village of Abercherder, for such a number of years as

can be agreed upon; entry at Whitsunday first,

THAT HOUSE, situated on the west side of the Square, belonging to the MARNOCH FRIENDLY SOCIETY, as possessed by Ann Horn.  The house consists of two large Rooms, and two Closets.  There are adjoining to the house, Two smaller HOUSES, as possessed by John Wright; a large Garden, and a lot of good and convenient land; entry may be had to the lot of land to lay down the crop for the present year.

The houses are now built, and in excellent repair.  A more advantageous situation for a Merchant or Vintner is seldom to be met with.  The whole will be let to one tenant, or be separated, as may best suit offerers.

For further particulars, application may be made to William Allan, merchant in Abercherder, until the 26th day of March curt., on which day the whole will be let within the Society Hall.

NOTICE

To the CREDITORS of JAMES ROSS, Saddler in Foggieloan.

THE Trustees for the Bankrupt's Creditors having now made up a state of the funds realized, and Scheme of Division of the free proceeds, the Creditors, who have lodged Claims, properly attested, will receive their Dividends from Alexander Webster, Advocate in Aberdeen, on granting the necessary receipt for the same.

SALE AT FOGGIELOAN, AND NOTICE

TO DEBTORS

Upon Tuesday the 25th day of May curt. there will be exposed to sale, by public roup, at the Shop & House of JAMES ROSS, Saddler in Foggieloan,

THE whole GOODS belonging to him; consisting of SADDLERY, HARDWARE, LEATHER, TOOLS, &c.  Also the different articles of FURNITURE in the house occupied by him.

The roup will begin at 10 o'clock forenoon; and as the whole must be sold off, great bargains may be expected.

Those indebted to the said James Ross, are requested to settle their accounts on the day of the roup; or to order payment of the amount to Alexander Webster, advocate in Aberdeen; or James Pressly, saddler in Turriff.

William Bain missing from Aberchirder

NOTICE.

WILLIAM BAIN, a Boy 13 years of age, absconded from the village of Aberchirder, in the parish of Marnoch, on the 2d of October last, and no satisfactory account concerning him has hitherto been received.

DESCRIPTION - He is stout made; hair, light brown; eyes blue.  His dress was, a round leathern cap; light blue jacket and trowsers; a coloured waistcoat, with grey stockings, and shoes.

Any information which may be the means of restoring this boy to his disconsolate mother, will be gratefully received by Mr Stronach, minister of Marnoch, by Banff.

The baptism of William Bain, son of William Bain and Margaret Simpson, is recorded in the Marnoch Old Parish Register of 6th May 1799.

Sale of shop in Aberchirder

SALE OF HOUSE AND SHOP GOODS,

IN FOGGIELOAN.

THAT HOUSE situated on the south side of Foggieloan, with about 2 1/2 Acres of feu ground attached, together with the Stock of SHOP GOODS in the same, lately belonging to Alex. Alexander, merchant, and now to Trustees for behoof of his Creditors, is to be sold by private bargain; and such a desireable opening for any person wanting to engage in business, is seldom to be met with, the country around being populous and the village thriving.  If not sold in one lot before the 20th May next, the whole will be soon afterwards exposed to sale by public roup.

Application and offers to be made to William Innes, Netherdale, or William Davidson, Merchant, Aberdeen; either of whom has power to conclude a bargain.

Foggieloan is the popular local name for the village of Aberchirder.
