ABSCONDED.

JEAN LUMSDEN left her Father's house on Monday 17th May, in order to return to service which she had left some days, on account of bad health, and has not since been heard of.  At that time, she had on a short Red and White Striped Wrapper, and a Blue Petticoat; is between fifteen and sixteen years of age, tall, but of a slender make, with dark Red Hair - if any person in whose service she may be, or is lodged with, would be so good as send information to William Lumsden, Crathes, by Banchory, it would be thankfully received.

Alexandrina Campbell

CAUTION.

THE Subscriber intimates to the public, that he has discovered that ALEXANDRINA CAMPBELL, commonly known by the name of LEXY CAMPBELL, formerly his Servant, and who left his service about 4 months ago, has, without his authority, taken up Goods at various places in his name, and has conducted herself very improperly, and gone strolling through the country in a very irregular manner; on which account he considers it as an act of justice, to caution every person against her artifices; and to state, that he is not liable for any Debts she may have contracted, or shall contract, in his name.

Betty Grant: reward for information

REWARD OFFERED.

THERE was a middle aged woman absconded from her service, early on Monday morning, and carried off with her, almost the whole of her Mistress's Wearing Apparel.  She calls herself BETTY GRANT, and said she was a native of Fraserburgh.  She is a thick, small sized woman, black complexion, her last service was with Gilbert Thom, in Echt.  A Reward will be given to any person who can give information concerning her.

Reward for apprehension of John Stewart

On the evening of Wednesday the 16th instant, a drawer in the house of Peter Small, weaver at Nether Candacraig, in the parish of Crathie, was forced open, while he and his wife were from home, and a Pocket Book stolen therefrom, containing Bank Notes and Bills to the amount of between £50 and £60 sterling.  It is suspected that the theft has been perpetrated by a man of the name of John Stewart, who has been in Small's employment, as a weaver, since Martinmas last, and who left his house that evening, and has not since been heard of.  A reward of 10L has been offered for his apprehension.

Elizabeth Ross: reward for information

NOTICE.

WENT from the Service of Mrs BISSET, at Green of Udny, on Sunday the 20th ult., ELIZABETH ROSS, about 30 years of age, middle size, dark hair, and a widow, having two children.  She was seen in the neighbourhood of Ellon on the above evening; and on the Monday evening and Tuesday morning following, she was seen in Aberdeen.  Whoever will give such information as may lead to a discovery of the above Woman to John Kelly, Merchant, Upperkirkgate, Aberdeen, will be thankfully rewarded for their trouble. - She had on, when last seen, a Black Bonnet, and a Dark Brown Pelisse.

William Bain missing from Aberchirder

NOTICE.

WILLIAM BAIN, a Boy 13 years of age, absconded from the village of Aberchirder, in the parish of Marnoch, on the 2d of October last, and no satisfactory account concerning him has hitherto been received.

DESCRIPTION - He is stout made; hair, light brown; eyes blue.  His dress was, a round leathern cap; light blue jacket and trowsers; a coloured waistcoat, with grey stockings, and shoes.

Any information which may be the means of restoring this boy to his disconsolate mother, will be gratefully received by Mr Stronach, minister of Marnoch, by Banff.

WHEREAS CHRISTIAN MOIR, spouse of ALEXANDER DUNN, Weaver in Spittal, absconded his house some time ago; the Public are hereby requested not to give her any Credit in goods or money on his account, as he will pay no debts contracted by her after this date.

ABSCONDED

DONALD McPHERSON, a Native of this place, somewhat deranged in mind; a well looking man, aged 22 years, about 5 feet 8 inches high: had on when he left this place, a blue coat, and green great coat, black silk vest with blue stripes, and black stockings, and has not been heard of since Monday 29th April.  His friends request most earnestly that some one would secure him, and lodge him in some safe place; and they will thankfully pay what expences are incurred, and be grateful for the favour.
