Five Friends of Garmouth

SHARE OF A SLOOP, AND HOUSEHOLD
FURNITURE, &C. FOR SALE.

There will be sold by public roup, at Garmouth, on Saturday the 18th day of December current, belonging to the deceased Mr. Alex. Cumming there,

ONE FIFTH PART of the Sloop called the FIVE FRIENDS of GARMOUTH, of about 55 Tons Register, conformably to Articles of Roup, which may be seen in the hands of R. Bain and P. Duff, jun. Writers in Elgin.

The whole HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE; two excellent and well-tried VIOLINS; MUSIC, and other Books; with a good Milk COW; some CORN in the Straw, and all his other moveable effects, will be sold at the same time; and by that period it is requested that all having Claims against him will lodge them with the Agents; and those Indebted to him will please to pay what they owe, to prevent prosecutions.

The Roup will commence at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, and credit will be given.

Andrew Divertie, bookseller

NOTICE TO DEBTORS AND CREDITORS.

ANDREW DIVERTIE, Bookseller in Aberdeen, having granted a Disposition in favour of Trustees, for behoof of his Creditors, all those having Claims against the said Andrew Divertie, are requested to lodge the same with Alex. Muir, Advocate, King Street, Aberdeen; and those Indebted to him will please pay their accounts to the said A. Muir, within fourteen days from this date, to prevent prosecutions.

Mr Divertie's Stock, consisting of a choice selection of Books and Stationary, will continue, in the meantime, to be sold off, at his Shop, in Broad Street, at greatly reduced prices.

Sequestration of Alexander Kelman

NOTICE
To the Debtors and Creditors on the sequestrated estate of ALEX. KELMAN, Brewer and Baker in Aberdeen,

THOSE Indebted to the said Alex. Kelman, are requested immediately to pay their accounts to James McHardy, Advocate in Aberdeen, with whom those having Claims against him, will please lodge them.

The Bake-house in North Street, lately occupied by Alex. Kelman, will be let until Whitsunday first. - Being in a central situation, and an established trade having been carried on in it, a more desirable situation for a person commencing business, is seldom to be met with.

NOTICE TO DEBTORS AND CREDITORS.

ON the first current, JOHN BEVERLY, Builder in Old Aberdeen, executed a Trust Disposition in favour of Trustees for behoof of his Creditors;  All those indebted to him, are therefore requested to pay what they owe, within one month from this date, to Charles Donaldson, Advocate in Aberdeen; and those having Claims against the said John Beverly, are requested to lodge the same with the said Charles Donaldson, without delay.

Robert Stirling, merchant in Rosehearty

NOTICE to DEBTORS and CREDITORS,
AND ROUP OF GOODS, &c.

There will be sold by public roup, at Rosehearty,

THE whole STOCK of GOODS, formerly belonging to ROBERT STIRLING, Merchant there, now to Trustees for behoof of his Creditors - consisting of Cloths of great variety - Grocery Goods of all descriptions - Ironmongery - Dressed Hemp - Ropes - Crockery-ware, &c. - Also, his Shop and Household Furniture, including an Eight Day Clock, Chest of Drawers, Bedding, &c.  Credit on security.

Roup to begin on Monday the 3d of May next, at 10 o'clock forenoon, and continue till all be sold off. 

Those indebted to the said Robert Stirling, are desired to make immediate payment to Andrew Oldman, Merchant in Aberdeen, one of the Trustees, to prevent prosecution.  Such of the Creditors as have not lodged their claims, will please give them in to the said Andw. Oldman, without delay.

N.B.  The Trustees will treat with any person who may be inclined to purchase the whole Stock on or before Monday the 26th current.

Alexander Carney, Macduff

NOTICE TO DEBTORS AND CREDITORS

ALL those indebted to the deceased Mr ALEX. CARNEY, late Rope and Twine Manufacturer in Macduff, are requested to pay what they owe to Jas. Horne, Writer in Macduff.  And those having Claims on the defunct, to lodge the same, with affidavits on the verity thereof, forthwith.

Alex. Carney, Nephew of the deceased Mr Carney, with whom he has resided and carried on the Work for more than a dozen of years past, is now to carry on the Business of ROPE and TWINE MANUFACTURER, on his own account.

A. C.  hopes to share a part of the public patronage in his line.

Orders will be duly attended to, and executed with care and despatch.

John Sim, King Edward, deceased

ROUP, AND NOTICE TO DEBTORS
AND CREDITORS.

ALL those having Claims on the deceased JOHN SIM, in Sandstown of Eden, Parish of King Edward, are requested to meet at Sandstown, on Monday the 26th of October curt. when the whole Subject belonging to the Deceased, will be sold by public roup - consisting of some Stacks of Oats and Barley, with the Fodder; Turnips and Potatoes on the Ground; a Horse; two Cows; some Labouring Utensils and Household Furniture.

The roup to begin at 11 o'clock forenoon.

And those who stand indebted to the deceased, are requested (within one month from this date) to pay what they owe to Capt. James Reid, at Inverichny, who is authorised to receive the same, and grant discharges.

James Milne, merchant at Plaidy

NOTICE
To the CREDITORS of JAMES MILNE, late Merchant at Plaidie, near Turriff.

A State of the Funds realized, will be seen at the Offices of Alexander Webster, Advocate, Aberdeen, will Monday the 27th curt.; after which day, the Creditors of the Bankrupt will receive their Dividends from Mr Webster.  If any person to whom the said James Milne stood Indebted at the time of his elopement, in June, 1817, has omitted to lodge his Claim, the same must be given in to the said Alex. Webster, against the above-mentioned day, otherwise no dividend can afterwards be paid thereon.
Not to be repeated.

James Craig, Garmouth

NOTICE TO DEBTORS AND CREDITORS.

THE Trustees on the Estate of JAMES CRAIG, Merchant, Garmouth, hereby intimate that a Scheme of Division is about to be made out; and those failing to lodge their claims, properly vouched, before the 1st March next, with Alexander Beaton, Hat Manufacturer, Aberdeen, will be entitled to no share of the first dividend.  -  It is also requested that those who are indebted to the said James Craig will order immediate payment to Mr Alexander Russel, Merchant, Fochabers, to prevent prosecution, which will be raised without loss of time, against all the Debtors who fail to comply with this intimation.

Lease of Black Bull Tavern

BLACK BULL TAVERN, ABERDEEN,

NOTICE TO DEBTORS AND CREDITORS.

THAT well known and long established Tavern, called The Black Bull, as possessed for many years past by Deacon ALEXANDER MARR, and now belonging to his heirs, will be Let by Private Bargain, for the term of six years.  Entry immediately.  - For particulars, application may be made to James Hardie, Advocate in Aberdeen.

All persons Indebted to Mr Marr, are desired to pay the amount to Mr Hardie, within One Month from this date.  And those having Claims against him, will be pleased to lodge the same within that period.
