Redmyre, Laurencekirk

FARM IN KINCARDINESHIRE TO LET.

To be Let for 19 years from Whitsunday next,

THE Farm of REDMYRE, as presently occupied by Robt. Martin, lying in the parish of Laurencekirk.  The Farm consists of 120 Scots acres, or thereby, mostly arable, and excellent soil, capable of bearing every species of Grain and Green Crops.  The situation is pleasant and convenient, being within 15 miles of Montrose, 10 of Stonehaven, 4 of Laurencekirk, and 6 of the Sea Port of Johnshaven.  The turnpike road between Stonehaven and Laurencekirk passes through the middle of the Farm; and in every point of view, a more desirable place of the size is seldom to be met with.

FARM IN THE PARISH OF CLUNY TO LET.

TO be entered to at Whitsunday first, the Farm of MAINS of LINTEN, presently possessed by WILLIAM CLARK, consisting of about Thirty Acres of good dry Land, the third infield, with a good Steading of Houses.  The land is in the best order.

Over Oldwhat Farm, New Deer

EXTENSIVE FARM TO BE LET.

THE Farm of OVER OLDWHAT of BRUCKLAY, in the parish of New Deer, as at present possessed by James Mackie, is to be let at Mr Lawa's in New Deer on Tuesday the 26th November next, at 12 o'clock noon.

This Farm contains 23A. 1R 37F. of Old Infield; 70A. 2R. 30F. of Outfield; 15A. 3R 6F. of Green Pasture; and 388A. 1R. 24F. of Muir, capable of being cultivated at a small expence.

The lands extend along the high-road from Peterhead to Banff, are in the neighbourhood of several Limestone Quarries, and not distant from Shell Sand.  Allowance will be given for Building and Enclosing.

Crowhillock Farm, Kincardineshire

FARM IN KINCARDINESHIRE

To be let for nineteen years and entered to at Whitsunday first, 1812,

THE Farm of CROWHILLOCK, with the Fishing Town and Lands of SHIELD-HILL, and part of the Lands of WHISTLEBERRY, all as at present possessed by Daniel Coutts.

The Farm consists of about 80 acres of arable land, chiefly strong ground, besides some pasture, is in high heart and condition, being almost all lately limed, and produces good wheat; is within less than three miles of the harbours of Catterline and Gourdon, where lime may be imported, and an excellent road passes through the farm and communicates with the turnpike.  The entering tenant can be accommodated with the whole of the crop of 1812, by appreciation, if he chooses.

Auchlee Farm, Kincardineshire

FARM IN KINCARDINESHIRE TO LET.

To be let, and entered to at Whitsunday first 1812.

THE Farm of AUCHLEE, as at present possessed by James Allan.  The farm is part of the estate of Kingcausie; consists of nearly forty acres arable, and above double that quantity of pasture.  It will be let for such number of years as may be agreed upon, and encouragement will be given to an enterprising tenant.  An excellent road, communicating with the Aberdeen turnpike, runs through the farm.

Apply to Charles Monro, writer in Stonehaven.  Andrew Caddenhead, at Pamplemouth of Kingcausie, will shew the farm.

BOGNIEBRAE TO LET.

The small but commodious Possession of BOGNIEBRAE, in the parish of Forgue, as presently possessed by JAMES HARPER, consisting of 27 acres of arable land, one half of which is infield, with substantial laigh Houses, fitted for the convenience of an INN, (as such it has been long used) is to be let for 9 years, being the remainder of a Lease.  - Entry thereto at Whitsunday 1812.

The turnpike road from Banff to Huntly passes through the possession; it is six miles from Huntly.

Those who wish for a lease of the same may apply to the present Possessor.

Tillymaud farm, Cruden

FARM TO LET

THAT part of the Farm of TILLYMAUD, in the parish of Cruden, at present occupied by JOHN SLESSOR, consisting of upwards of 21 1/2 acres of remarkably fine Infield, 20 acres of Outfield, and 39 acres of Pasture and Uncultivated ground, The Farm is within five miles of Peterhead, by the turnpike road, now executing, which passes through it.

Middletown farm, Nigg

FARM IN NIGG

To be LET, for such number of years as can be agreed on,

THE SMALL FARM on the Lands of MIDDLETOWN, in the parish of Nigg and county of Kincardine, lately possessed by the deceased William Duthie.  On the premises there is a substantial dwelling-house, with suitable office-houses.  The ground, which consists of about 14 acres all inclosed, has a fine exposure to the south, and is of good quality.  Entry at Martinmas next.

UPON LOT THIRD OF BELHELVIE.

THE LANDS of MIDDLEMUIR, as possessed by Alexander Simpson and the late James Simpson, to which upwards of 15 acres, in the proprietor's own hand and presently in fallow, will be added.  The whole will be let for 19 years, in one, two, or three possessions, as offerers incline.  Entry at Martinmas next.  There are two good Farm Steadings upon the land.

FARM IN UDNY

To be LET, upon a Lease of favourable endurance,

THE FARM of TORRYLEITH, in the parish of Udny, as presently occupied by John Melvin. - It contains 'twixt 60 and 70 Scotch acres of improved land, mostly inclosed, and about 25 acres of pasture land. - There is a substantial and commodious Dwelling House upon it, of two stories, and slated; with a good Steading of Offices, and well stocked Garden; and is distant only ten miles from Aberdeen, on the turnpike road, leading from thence to Old Meldrum) which passes through the farm. - Entry to the whole at Martinmas first.

Farms of Aldtoun & Scattery, Ordiquhill

FARM TO LET

To be Let, and entered to at the term of Whitsunday next, 1812,

THE Farm of ALDTOUN, on the Estate of PARK, in the parish of Ordequhill, as presently possessed by Alexander Dean, consisting of about ninety acres of land, besides a range of hill pasture, and well accommodated with moss for firing.  The farm lyes in the vicinity of the markets of Cornhil, and is well adapted for rearing cattle.  The turnpike road leading from Banff to Keith and Huntly passes through the estate, and the other roads in the parish are in the best state, and equal to turnpike.

- AS ALSO -

The Town and Lands of SCATTERTY, adjoining to the foresaid farm of Aldtoun, as possessed by James Mitchell and others, the Leases upon which only expire at Whitsunday, 1813, and will be let in one or more farms as tenants may incline.

Every encouragement for building and inclosing will be given to a substantial tenant; and application may be made to Mr Gordon, the proprietor, at the House of Park.

SPEYMOUTH: FARM TO LET

ADVERTISEMENT.

To be Let for Eleven Years from Whitsunday first, 1811,

THE Farm of ESSLE, in the Parish of Speymouth, as presently occupied by JOHN MENZIES.

It consists of Fifty-Three Acres Arable, well adapted to green crops and the system of husbandry connected with them; and about Forty-Nine Acres of Muir Pasture.  There is a comfortable Dwelling-Houose and Stead of Offices on the place.

Offers may be given in to the Duke of GORDON, the Proprietor, at Gordon Castle; or to the Revd. John Anderson, his factor at Fochabers, betwixt this and the 1st of March ensuing; when answers will be returned, and the person preferred settled with.
