The Mains of Craigmill is enclosed, and within five miles of Forres.  The Mill and Farm Steading are new, and slated; and such of the other Farms as are contiguously situated will be joined, and made convenient to accommodate improving tenants.

Offers will be received by John Grant, at Carron, or P. Cameron, Writer in Banff, until the day of set; and Alexander Grant, ground-officer, will shew the marches.

Knockando Farm Leases

FARMS TO LET,

In the Parish of KNOCKANDO, and County of ELGIN, 

Belonging to CHARLES GRANT, Esq. of ELCHIES, 

CORGYLE, as possessed by the Proprietor and James MacMillan, with the PASTURAGE of DELEGYLE.

COTTERTOWN, also possessed by the Proprietor, with the adjoining Pendicle, called HEATHFIELD, possed by Geo. Findlay.

GATESIDE of KNOCKANDO, possessed by James Robertson.

RUNNAGARIE, and MILL of BELLINTOMB, possessed by James Dean.          AND

PRESCALTINE, possessed by John and William Clarks.

The Farms of Corgyle and Cottertown are substantially enclosed with stone dykes, and well watered.  The arable land has been limed freely by the Proprietor, and let annually for several years, under Grass, for Pasturage.  Liberal allowance will be given to good tenants for Building Houses on Corgyle and Cotertown; with entry imemdiately or at Martinmas to the lands occupied by the Proprietor, and to the other Farms at Whitsunday 1814.

Offers will be received by Peter Cameron, Writer in Banff, or John Grant, at Carron,; either of whom will give any further information that may be required, till Monday the 11th of April, when the offers will be examined at the House of Elchies; and Alexander Grant, Ground-officer at Strondow, will shew the premises.

Many of these farms are of very considerable extent, and capable of great improvement; and a number of them possess many local advantages; being either intersected by or in the vicinity of turnpike, or good commutation roads; in the neighbourhood of several sea-ports, and within a moderate distance of lime-quarries, where lime may be had at a reasonable expense.

Further particulars will be learned on application at Cullen House, near Cullen, where offers in writing may be given in betwixt and Martinmas next.

JAMES DOUGLAS

JAMES DOUGLAS, son of ROBERT DOUGLAS and JEAN YOUNIE, late in Overtown of Easter Elchies, in Knockando parish, is wanted to appear and receive his SHARE of a LEGACY left him by Mary McDonald, his mother-in-law, and that within twelve months from the date hereof, otherwise he loses his right by the foresaid deed.
