REWARD OFFERED for apprehension of William Morrison

WILLIAM MORRISON, sometime CLERK in Aberdeen, absconded from his situation on Saturday last, the 5th June curt. taking with him about L. 96 of COMMERCIAL BANK of SCOTLAND NOTES,

A REWARD OF TEN GUINEAS

Is hereby offered, to any person who will apprehend him, or give such information to David Copland, Insurance Broker, Aberdeen, as may lead to a discovery of his person, the informer's name to be kept secret, if required.  Besides the Money, the said William Morrison is supposed to have a FORGED BILL, of L. 376. 14s. which he attempted to pass here.  It is drawn on the Firm of Messrs. Nicol, Reid, and Co. Shipbuilders, which the Public are cautioned against taking.

The said WILLIAM MORRISON is about 18 year of age, stout made, round full face, and large blue eyes; is of fair complexion, light harir, about 5 feet 2 inches high.  Had on when he absconded, a long Dark Blue Coat, a dark coloured Vest, mixed Grey Pantaloons, Grey Stockings; walked slow, with his hands generally in his Pantaloon Pockets.

NOTICE TO CREDITORS.

WILLIAM BENNET, Merchant in Banff, having absconded within these few days, leaving, as is apprehended, his matters in great disorder - a Meeting of his Creditors is requested, within the house of Pter Grant, vintner in Banff, on Monday next, the 5th day of April, at 1 o'clock afternoon, to resolve what is proper to be done, to realize the subjects that may still remain.

NOTICE TO CREDITORS.

JAMES BARCLAY, Innkeeper at Upper Banchory, having absconded and left the country, a meeting of his Creditors will be held, at the Inn at Upper Banchory, on Saturday the 6th day of June next, at twelve o'clock noon, to take into consideration the state of his affairs.

N.B.  The INN continues to be kept by Mrs Barclay, by whom every attention to Passengers will be shewn.

WHEREAS JOHN HUTCHEON and JAMES HUTCHEON, Jun. both lately residing at Swanford, in the parish of Montquhiter, and county of Aberdeen, stand charged with the crime of Theft, and have absconded from Justice:

A REWARD OF THREE GUINEAS

Is hereby offered to any person, who shall apprehend and detain in custody, the said John Hutcheon, and James Hutcheon jun. or either of them, or give such information to Hugh Fullerton, Procurator Fiscal of the County of Aberdeen, as may lead to their being apprehended and secured.

James Anderson alias Clark

KINCARDINESHIRE.

ABSCONDED FROM JUSTICE,

JAMES ANDERSON, alias CLARK, late Roadmaker, and who last contracted for repairing, and worked on the turnpike road betwixt Aberdeen and Stonehaven, accused of Horse-stealing, ABSCONDED lately; In order that he may be brought to justice,

A REWARD OF FIVE GUINEAS

is offered to any Person who shall apprehend and incarcerate him.  - The said Reward to be paid by the Procurator-Fiscal of Kincardineshire.

Anderson, alias Clark, as he sometimes assumes the one name, and at other times, the other, is a middle-sized man, with a full round face; had upon him when he committed the theft, a short Dark Blue Coat; a Dark Waistcoat; New Boots, with Nankeen Overalls.

George Fielding, Slateford, Brechin

REWARD OF THIRTY GUINEAS.

WHEREAS, GEORGE FIELDING, one of the partners of the concern which carried on business under the firm of Smith and Fielding, merchants and auctioneers, in Glasgow and Edinburgh, has absconded, carrying with him the books and almost the whole property and effects belonging to the said concern of Smith and Fielding.

A REWARD of THIRTY GUINEAS

will be paid to any person who will apprehend and lodge in person, or give such information as may lead to the apprehension of the said George Fielding.

Fielding is a native of Slateford near Brechin, speaks the dialect of that part of the country; was originally bred to the trade of a mason; but has been in the practice for this some time past of selling goods about the country, as an auctioneer, in company with his partner Smith; and had lately an auction-room in Brechin.  He is about 5 feet 9 inches high - stout made - fair complexioned - andhad on a grey coat and velveteen breeches when last seen.

The above reward will be paid by James Kerr, accountant in Glasgow, trustee on the sequestrated estate of the said Smith and Fielding; or by W. Lawrie and A. Morrison, writers, Glasgow.

Robert Grant, Blairfindy

INTIMATION.

THAT upon Friday the 20th day of November, 1812, ROBERT GRANT, Subtenant in Blairfundy, parish of Inveraven, and county of Banff, ABSCONDED from Justice, as several Warrants were issued against him to apprehend him upon a Charge of FORGERY.

Description: - He is about five feet eleven inches high, black complexion, red whiskers; when he left the country, he had on a dark blue jacket, white pantaloons, and wore an ordinary coarse hat.

Any person or persons who shall apprehend the said Robert Grant, and lodge him in any of His Majesty's Jails, and will send the receipt of the jailor of the jail he is in custody in, to Arthur Reid, writer in Tarland, by Aberdeen, or Charles Gordon, in St. Bridget, by Mortlach, Banffshire, will receive TEN POUNDS Sterling as a Reward; with all expences incurred upon apprehending him.

ABSCONDED: ROBERT WALLACE

A CAUTION

ABSCONDED from his service, on Tuesday morning the 18th inst. ROBERT WALLACE.  He appears to be about 22 years of age, five feet eight inches high, slender made, fair complexion, sharp eyes.  Had on a grey short coat, striped waistcoat, blue breeches, and grey or white stockings - with a bundle containing some articles of wearing apparel.  When he was engaged he told his employer that his father and other relations lived in New Pitsligo.  He borrowed One Pound, as he said, to purchase shoes, which he neither applied to that purpose nor returned.  It is hoped, after this intimation, that no person will receive the said Robert Wallace into their service.  Unless he return immediately, a warrant is to be applied for, in order to have him apprehended.
