NOTICE.

ALEXANDER THOMSON, Merchant in Portgordon, having executed a trust deed for behoof of his whole Creditors in favour of Mackie and Mackay, Aberdeen; - Notice is hereby given to those having claims against him, to lodge the same without delay, with the said Mackie and Mackay; - to whom all persons indebted to him, will please make immediate payment of their accounts.

Part of the Stock belonging to the said Alexander Thomson, (consisting of HABERDASHERY and GROCERY GOODS) will be sold by public roup, in Henderson's Sale-room, Aberdeen, on Wednesday the 13th day of March, 1816.

Upon Monday the 25th of October current, there will begin to be sold by public roup in BROWN and SON'S Sale-room, Union-street,

THE whole STOCK of GOODS belonging to the sequestrated Estate of THOMAS LUMSDEN, merchant in Aberdeen, consisting of Superfine, Broad and Narrow Cloths, Cassimers, Pellice Cloths, Duffles, Flannels, Swanidowns, Quiltings, Corduroys, Velvets, Linens, Cotton Shirtings, Muslins, Lawns, Cambrics, Laces, Florentines, Sarsnets, Ribbons, Shawls, Silk and Cotton Handkercheifs, Stockings, Hats, Gloves, Threads, Buttons, &c. &c. - Also the Counters, Shelves and Shop Furniture, and the Shop will be Let till Whitsunday, entry immediately after the roup.

The sale will begin each day at 10 o'clock forenoon; and credit will be given on security.

Printed catalogues of the Goods will be ready for delivery three days previous to the sale, and may be had at the shop of Alexander Duncan, Jun. Trustee on the said Estate, or at the Sale-room of

John McIntosh (deceased): sale of goods

SALE AT STONEHAVEN, OF CLOTHIERY, HABERDASHERY, AND OTHER GOODS.

THE whole Stock of GOODS, which belonged to the deceased JOHN McINTOSH, Merchant, is to be Sold by Auction, within the Mason Lodge of Stonehaven.  The goods consist of a great variety of Broad and Narrow, Superfine and Coarse Cloths; Cassimers, Corduroys, Nankeens, and Stocking for Pantaloons, &c.; Waistcoat Pieces; Flannels, Baizes, Serges, and Plaiding; Prints, Cotton and Linen for Shirting, &c.; Ticking, Check, Tartan, and Duffle; Silk and Cotton Handkerchiefs; Muslins, Laces, and Ribbands; Hats, Umbrellas, and Gloves; Spades, Shovels, Scythes, and Brushes; Table Knives and Forks, Pen Knives, Scissors, Spectacles, Buttons, &c.; Gun Powder and Shot, Snuff and Tobacco, Tea, Sugar, Starch, Paper &c. &c.

The whole Stock is in the best condition, being almost all newly laid in, and composes a complete assortment of Clothiery, Haberdashery, and Grocery Goods.  Every thing is to be Sold off without reserve, in such quantities as purchasers may choose, and the Sale is well worth the attention of the public, and particularly of dealers in the above articles.

The Sale will begin at 10 o'clock forenoon, on Monday the 11th of October next, and will continue daily until the whole is Sold off.  Credit will be given for Six months, and farther particulars may be learned by applying to David Fairweather, Auctioneer, Stonehaven.

THAT large, and commodious SHOP lying in Castlegate of Montrose, belonging to Mr ANDREW NICOL.  This Shop is situated near the middle of the town, and was lately fitted up in a very elegant manner at considerable expence, having a complete set of Wainscot Compters.  The building and interior fitting up are quite new, and executed in a fashionable and substantial manner; this shop is particularly well adapted for the Haberdashery Business, or may be used in any other line, being in a centrical situation. - For particulars, apply to the Proprietor at Aberdeen; or Anthony Davidson, writer, Montrose, who will show the premises.
