Horse stolen from Strathdon

HORSE STOLEN, AND REWARD OFFERED.

ON the night of Monday the 25th November, there was Stolen from the Stable of John Morrison, in Rinnahall, parish of Strathdon, a Roan-coloured HORSE, with a white stripe on his face, and a long mane and tail, and a white spot on each side of the ears.  He is middle aged, about about 14 hands high.

Any person giving such information as may lead to the recovery of the Horse, and the conviction of the Offender, will receive a Reward of

FIVE GUINEAS,

on application to the said John Morrison, or Hugh Fullerton, Esq. Advocate in Aberdeen, Prosecutor Fiscal of the County.

KINCARDINESHIRE.

ABSCONDED FROM JUSTICE,

JAMES ANDERSON, alias CLARK, late Roadmaker, and who last contracted for repairing, and worked on the turnpike road betwixt Aberdeen and Stonehaven, accused of Horse-stealing, ABSCONDED lately; In order that he may be brought to justice,

A REWARD OF FIVE GUINEAS

is offered to any Person who shall apprehend and incarcerate him.  - The said Reward to be paid by the Procurator-Fiscal of Kincardineshire.

Anderson, alias Clark, as he sometimes assumes the one name, and at other times, the other, is a middle-sized man, with a full round face; had upon him when he committed the theft, a short Dark Blue Coat; a Dark Waistcoat; New Boots, with Nankeen Overalls.

Horse theft in Fyvie

STOLEN

FROM ANDREW SHIRRAN, near Towie, in the parish of Fyvie, on the night between the 11^th and 12^th November, a Brown middle-sized HORSE, with a switch tail, and half long mane; has a few white hairs in the rose on his face; also a ratch on the far hind hip below the hurkle; and a little crooked on the near fore foot; was never shod on the hind feet; also there was taken with him, a COLLAR and HARNESS, with long slings.  On the same night, a Blue painted CART, with Red Shafts, was carried off from the neighbourhood, supposed by the same person.

Whoever can give such information as may be the means of detecting the offenders, will be handsomely rewarded on application to the Proprietor, or to Wm. Irvine, Esq. Towie, by Turriff.
