VALUABLE PROPERTY IN ABERDEENSHIRE

TO BE FEUED.

Upon Friday the 13th day of February next, at twelve o'clock noon, there will be exposed to sale by way of Feu, within the Poor's Hospital of Aberdeen,

ALL and WHOLE the TOWN and LANDS of EASTER ECHT, lying in the Parish of Echt, and County of Aberdeen, as presently occupied by Alex. Bings and others.  -- This Property is distant about ten English miles from Aberdeen, and contains about 250 Acres of Arable Land, besides a great range of Pasture and Muir Ground, and a large quantity of valuable Moss.

Upset Feu-duty L. 150 Sterling, in Money, and 35 Bolls of Oat Meal, besides the public and parochial burdens to be paid by the purchaser.

Portsoy feus

NOTICE TO FEUERS IN PORTSOY.

WHEREAS the following Feuers in the Burgh of Barony of Portsoy, and their heirs and representatives, have for a great many years past failed to pay up their feu duties to the Right Honourable Earl of Findlater and Seafield, the superior of the said burgh, and are now due the sums aftermentioned, viz.

Intimation is therefore hereby given, that unless the said feu duties are forthwith paid, and regular entries taken out and titles made up to the feus abovementioned, immediate measures will be taken for declaring the feu rights irritated, and for evicting the feus for payment of the arrears of feu duties, of which all concerned are desired to take notice.

Such of the feuers as are inclined to pay up their arrears and settle, will please call on Mr Copland, factor for Lord Findlater, at Portsoy, or Archibald Young, writer in Banff.

Gardenstown properties

HOUSES AND GROUND TO BE SOLD

AT GARDENSTOWN.

There is to be sold by Private Bargain,

THE GRANARY on the east-side of the thriving Harbour of Gardenstown, with the Cellars below, belonging to JOHN KNOX, betwixt this and the 16th of November next.  The House is eighty feet long, and fifteen and one half feet broad within walls; the Cellars are divided below the Granary by a stone wall and have large doors in each end, sufficient for receiving a Cart.  There is also a door in each end of the Granary above, with easy access; the House is in compleat repair, and the largest half of it lately built in a substantial manner.  There is room enough on the Property for building another House on the west-end.  

If not sold before the above period, the Granary will be Let.  Entry at Martinmas first.

There are also to be sold as above TWO other large FEU TENEMENTS and HOUSES in the middle of the town of Gardenstown; the one is possessed by George Laird, Vintner, and others - the House possessed by G.L. is both large and commodious, well furnished with Beds and Presses, &c. and in excellent repair, with a good Stable and a large Hay Loft above it; these Houses were new roofed a few years ago, with the best materials, and are the best in town for a Public house, or a Merchant, having a well finished Shop, with entries to it from both Streets. - Feu-duty only Fourteen Pence.

The other Feu adjoining is partly possessed by John Robertson, the Dwelling House is very commodious and substantial, and has a Yard of twenty-seven Roods belonging to the Feu of very early and superior quality of Ground. - Feu duty is 4s 9d.

Building Stance on Commerce Street

BUILDING AREA.

To be sold by public roup, within the Lemon Tree Tavern of Aberdeen, on Thursday the 28th day of July, curt. at 6 o'clock, afternoon,

A BUILDING STANCE of Forty Feet in front, along the west side of COMMERCE STREET, extending backward to the property of the Sugar House Company, and bounded on the south by the area on which a Dwelling House was sometime ago erected by William Scott, stone cutter, together with the sheds on the stance here advertised presently possessed by Mr Watson, cooper.

The vicinity of this piece of ground to the Quay, and the small feu duty payable from it, being only £5 yearly, with a duplicand at Martin 1816, and every 21 years thereafter, in full of all casualties, render it an object to merchants and others wishing accommodation in that neighbourhood.
