St. Fergus 12th Janry. 1812. The Session met & constituted compeared Janet Gray an unmarried woman and confessed that she had brought forth a child begot in fornication, & accused James Walker an unmarried man in the Parish of Longside, as the father of Said child - Said Walker being called, compeared & being seriously exhorted, & Admonished, was interrogated, denied all guilt, or carnal connexion with said Janet Gray - both being suitably exhorted to ingenuity, were cited to attend the Session this day seinnicht. Session closed.
