Lease in Auchterless

LARGE FARM TO BE LET.

To be Let, for such a number of years as can be agreed on, with entry at Whitsunday 1821,

THE FARMS of THOMASTON and SMALL-BURN, as at present possessed by Alex. McKenzie.  They consist altogether of about 370 Acres; 80 Acres of which are Old Infield, and of the first quality of dry rich laighs; 100 Acres of the first quality of dry Outfield; 100 Acres of the second quality of Outfield; and the remof dry improveable Pasture; the whole lying on a dry open slatey bottom.  All the Farm is well calculated for Tilllage or Sheep Pasture, and is considered as one of the finest Farms on the estate of Towie Barclay, and parish of Auchterless, in which it is situated.

Offers will be receied, in sealed Letters, and further particulars communicated, by Mr Thomas Spark, Treasurer to the Infirmary, Aberdeen, until the 15th of April next.

Farm leases in Kennethmont

FARMS TO BE LET.

On Monday the 8th of June, at 10 o'clock forenoon, there will be Let in Lease, at Leith-hall, to be entered to immediately,

THE FARM of BLAIRNDINNY, presently occupied by William and Robert Ironside, consisting of 20 Acres of Infield, 66 of Outfield, and 61 of Improveable Pasture.  As also, the FARM of BOGEND, as lately possessed by James Stewart, consisting of upwards of 5 Acres of Infield, 21 of Outfield, and 14 of Pasture.

Cairnywhing

FARM TO LET.

THE FARM on CAIRNYWHING, in the parish of Tyrie, presently possessed by William Williamson, containing about 14 Acres of Infield, 5 Acres of Outfield, and about 20 of Pasture, will be Let for 19 years from Whitsunday first.  The turnpike Road from Fraserburgh towards Banff passes within a few yards of this Farm, and gives easy access to the shores of Pitullie and Pittendrum, for Shell Sand, to which the tenant will have a right.

Every encouragement will be given to an improving tenant; and offers in writing may be given in to Lewis Chalmers, Writer in Fraserburgh, who will inform as to further particulars.

Farm leases

FARMS TO LET.

THE following FARMS belonging to JOHN MORRISON, Esq. of Auchintoul, are to be let, in the course of this Autumn, on a day to be afterwards advertised. - Entry at Whitsunday, 1817, viz.:-

BRAEFOOT in the parish of Turriff, presently possessed by James Brown, consisting of about 36 acres of Infield, 90 Acres of Outfield, and 197 acres of improvable Muir and Pasture.

MAINS OF GREENS, in the parish of Monquhitter, presently occupied by William Chalmers, consisting of about 23 acres of Infield, 46 acres of Outfield, and 183 acres of Pasture and Muir.

The Ground Officer at Laithers, or the present tenants, will point out the boundaries.

Harlaw Farm

FARM IN THE GARIOCH TO LET.

THE FARM of HARLAW, occupied by Alexander Strachan, lying in the parish of Chapel of Garioch, within three miles of the Canal of Inverury, will be Let for nineteen years from Whitsunday first, in whole or divided, as may suit intending offerers.  William Duncan at Daviot, will show the Farm; and offers in writing may be addressed to Harry Niven Lumsden, of Auchindoir, the proprietor, by Rhynie, till the 22d current, on which day the Farm will be Set, at Pitmachie Inn.  All offers not accepted will be concealed and returned if wished.

The extent of the Farm is as follows:

Infield, 34 A, 2 R, 6F
Outfield, 151 A, 2 R, 34 F
Pasture and Uncultivated Ground, 83 A, 3 R, 39 F
Total, 280 A, 0 R, 39 F.

Iriewells, parish of Udny

FARM IN UDNY TO BE LET.

THE FARM of IRIEWELLS, lying in the parish of Udny and county of Aberdeen, lately possessed by the deceased William Pirie, is to be Let for nineteen years and crops, after Whitsunday 1814.  

This Farm, agreeable to a survey taken upwards of thirty years ago, appears to contain in all 143 acres, of which 27 acres are infield, and 66 acres outfield.

Further particulars as to the terms of the Lease will be communicated by William Shepherd, Treasurer of Robert Gordon's Hospital, in Aberdeen; or by Robert Morice, advocate there; with either of whom, it is requested that sealed offers, containing the name and address of the intending Tenant, and of the persons who will be security for his implementing the Lease, may be lodged on or before the 16th of April next.

Pitlochie farms, Ellon

FARMS IN THE PARISH OF ELLON.

THE LANDS OF PITLOCHIE, in the parish of Ellon, as at present possessed by James Mundy, William Hendry, and George Allan, are to be let in one or more possessions, for nineteen years from Whitsunday next.  The north division of said Lands, as separated from the other by a small burn contains 22A. 3R. 12P. of infield, 24A. 2R. 5P. of outfield, and 21A. 3R. 19P. of pasture; the other division, principally occupied by George Allan, contains 3A. 2R. 6P. of infield, 30A. 3R. 24P. of outfield, and 32A. 0R. 31P. of pasture and moss.

George Allan will show the boundaries; and offers in writing may be lodged with William Stuart, advocate in Aberdeen, betwixt and the 22d of October next.
