Farm leases, Edingight

FARMS TO BE LET,
ON THE ESTATE OF EDINGIGHT.
In the parish of Grange and County of Banff, for such number of years as may be agreed upon,

THE FARM of WESTERTOWN, as presently occupied by Walter Jamieson, consisting of about 80 Acres, the greater part of which is arable; and there is a Dwelling House, and suitable Offices on the premises.
ALSO,
The FARMS of WHITELEY and WATTSTACK, either together or separately, as offerers may incline.  These are at present in the natural possession of the proprietor, in a high state of cultivation, and mostlyl in Grass.  They consist of 80 Acres arable, besides an extensive range of Pasture.

Also, the FARM of BRUMBLEBURN, as lately possessed by the deceased George Brebner, consisting of about 50 Acres arable, besides an extensive Pasture, in a high state of cultivation, and mostly in Grass.

The above Farms are to be Let at the House of Edingight, on Saturday the 4th of July.  Entry to the above Farms on the day or letting or at Martinmas next.

Newmachar farms

FARMS
IN NEWMACHAR PARISH.

THE following FARMS, on the Estates of PARKHILL and ROSEHALL, will be let for nineteen years, from Whitsunday next viz.-

Moor and Pasture
HILLHEAD, possessed by William Donald
44A, 1R, 26F
46A, 1R, 24F
LONGHILLS, possessed by Alex. Mutch
24A, 2R, 10F
8A, 0R, 28F
WAULKMILL, possessed by William Davidson
29A,3R, 0F
17A, 0R, 0F

These Farms are situated within six miles of Aberdeen, to which they have access both by the Turnpike and the old Oldmeldrum road, and within one mile of the canal basin at bridge of Dyce; they are of an early, kindly soil, and very improveable.  Hillhead is mostly enclosed, and sub-divided, by remarkably strong stone fences, in thorough repair.  Every encouragement will be given to industrious tenants of capital.

Offers will be received at the House of Parkhill, on Monday the 4th of August first, at 12 o'clock noon.  Further particulars will be known on applying to James Forbes, Kirkhill, by Oldmeldrum, factor for General Gordon Cuming Skene, the proprietor.  James Gray, in Loch-End, will point out the marches.

FARMS TO BE LET

THE following FARMS, on the Estate of ELLON, belonging to the Honble. WILLIAM GORDON, are to be let for 19 years, entry at Whitsunday next.

KNOCKOTHY, possessed by David Thomson.
KNAPS of WATERTOWN by James Hardie.
COALHILL, by George Ingram; with Part of PIKLETTUNE addes to it, and Part of MILL  of WATERTOWN, in the occupation of Wm. Pittendreigh.
Part of FECHILL, occupied by George Barron.
OVER-LOGIE, by the heirs of the late Rev. Mr Paterson.

All these Farms lye within a mile of the town of Ellon.

Persons desirous of taking any of the above Farms in lease, will lodge their offers with Alex. Crombie, Advocate in Aberdeen, betwixt and the 14th February next.  The ground-officer will shew the boundaries.

Edingight farm leases

FARMS ON THE ESTATE OF EDINGEITH
TO LET.

BOGS, as lately possessed by James Howe.
WATTS-TACK, as possessed by William Gordon; and
WHITE-LEY, as possessed by Alexander Robb.

Entry to Bogs and White-Ley immediately, and to Watts-Tack at Whitsunday first; and Candidates will please attend at the house of Edingeith, on Wednesday the 29th current, when it is intended to Let the Farms.
