Hugh McKay

DESERTED,

FROM a Recruiting Party of the Inverness-shire Regt. of Militia, on the 31st October 1812.

HUGH McKAY, by trade a labourer, or cattle driver, born in the parish of Tarbard, County of Ross, aged 31 years and 6 months, 5 feet 8 3/4 inches in height, black hair, dark brown eyes, round visage, dark complexion, stout made.  Sometimes went under the name of PETER McGREGOR; resided in the parish of Fraserburgh, county of Aberdeen; had on when deserted, a round glazed hat, striped waistcoat, corduroy pantaloons, and laced shoes.

Whoever will apprehend the above Deserter, and lodge him in any of his Majesty's Gaols, or deliver him to the part at Banff or Keith, shall receive a Reward over and above his Majesty's Allowance.
