William Bain missing from Aberchirder

NOTICE.

WILLIAM BAIN, a Boy 13 years of age, absconded from the village of Aberchirder, in the parish of Marnoch, on the 2d of October last, and no satisfactory account concerning him has hitherto been received.

DESCRIPTION - He is stout made; hair, light brown; eyes blue.  His dress was, a round leathern cap; light blue jacket and trowsers; a coloured waistcoat, with grey stockings, and shoes.

Any information which may be the means of restoring this boy to his disconsolate mother, will be gratefully received by Mr Stronach, minister of Marnoch, by Banff.

The baptism of William Bain, son of William Bain and Margaret Simpson, is recorded in the Marnoch Old Parish Register of 6th May 1799.
