ACCIDENTAL DEATH AT WICK

Some weeks ago William Farquhar, fisher from Port Gordon, was accidentally killed by falling over a rock while engaged in the herring fishery at Wick.  On learning this melancholy accident, Mrs. Burn, the wife of George Burn Esq. Architect, residing at Pulteney Town, very humanely raised a subscription among the Ladies and Gentlemen of that place, and collected 16l. 14s. 6d for behoof of his widow and children.
