VALUABLE LEASE

OF A FARM IN BUCHAN,

FOR SALE.

On Saturday the 5th of October curt. there will be exposed to sale by public roup, within the house of Alex. Mair, Nether Mill of Birness,

THE Remainder of the LEASE on the Farms of NETHER MILL of BIRNESS and HALF-TACK, with the Mill Multures, and Knaveships thereof, all as at present possessed by the said Alex. Mair and his subtenants; lying in the parish of Logie Buchan, and county of Aberdeen; and that for 18 years and crops after Whitsunday last.  These Farms contain about 200 Acres of Land, the greater part of which is arable, and the remainder meadow ground, affording rich pasture.  The Lands are of a strong deep loam, well adapted for raising Wheat, or other Grain crops.  There are on the premises a substantial set of Office-houses, and a Threshing Mill, driven by water. - The Farm enjoys great advantages in point of situation, being at a short distance from the shipping port of Newburgh, and in the immediate vicinity of the turnpike road from Aberdeen to Peterhead.  At the end of the tack the tenant will be entitled to receive from the Proprietor the value of the fences to the extent of 200 Acres, and also a year's rent for houses.

The Lease will be sold for a grassum; the yearly rent to be paid is inconsiderable, being £55 of money, 24 Bolls of Meal, and 8 Bolls of Bear; £36 of which, and 6 Bolls of Meal, are payable by subtenants.  The purchases, if he chooses, may have immediate access to the premises, and will be entitled to the present Crop and Stocking, either by public sale, or at a fair valuation.

To be sold by public roup, within the house of George Ronald, vintner in Aberdeen, upon Friday the 7th day of October next, at two o'clock, afternoon,

THAT convenient HOUSE, with the Back Court and Pertinents, lying on the west side of the Tannery Street of Aberdeen, and presently possessed by James Mair, Jeweller, Mrs Skinner, Mrs Tough, and others.  The house is very substantial, and well accommodated with fixed beds and presses.  It is slated and finished with the best of wood.
