Murder of Elizabeth Cruickshank

MURDER!!! REWARD.

WHEREAS, on the night of Thursday the 24th. or early on the morning of Friday the 25th. instant, ELIZABETH CRUICKSHANK, a Lunatic, belonging to PETERHEAD, was barbarously Stabbed and  Wounded, in one or other of the streets of that place, by some person unknown, in consequence of which she has since died:
A REWARD OF TEN GUINEAS
is hereby offered to any one who will give such information to Robert Robertson, Esq. Peterhead; or Hugh Fullerton, Advocate in Aberdeen, Procurator Fiscal of the County, as may lead to a discovery and conviction of the perpetrator of the said atrocious crime.
Aberdeen, 18th Dec. 1812.
