Heirs of Charles & Alexander Donaldson of Hilton

HEIR AT LAW WANTED,

To the deceased Mr WILLIAM DONALDSON, who was a Partner in the Banking House of Messrs. CHILD & Co. London.

He was the son of CHARLES DONALDSON, who on the 26th June 1718, was admitted a Guild Brother of the Burgh of Aberdeen, and grandson of Alexander Donaldson, some time of Hilton, (now Turnerhall), in the parish of Ellon and county of Aberdeen.

Mr William Donaldson and his brothers and sisters having all died without issue, the descendants of the brothers and sisters of the above-mentioned Charles Donaldson, or either of them, are consequently his heirs at law; and failing them, the descendants of the brothers and sisters of Alexander Donaldson of Hilton.  If any such are now in life and can prove their relationship to either of the above-mentioned persons, they are requested to apply to William Stuart, Advocate in Aberdeen.

N.B.  It is conjectured that Alexander Donaldson of Hilton, had at one time resided in the parish of Cruden, as his son Charles was baptised there on the 25th May 1698.

Published in the Aberdeen Journal, Wednesday 1st April, 1812.
