Sale of stock in Deskford

SALE OF MERCHANT GOODS
AND
NOTICE TO DEBTORS AND CREDITORS

On Monday the 19th day of August ensuing, there will be sold by public roup, at HOGGIE, in the parish of Deskford,

THE whole Stock of MERCHANT GOODS, and other Effects, which belonged to JOHN STEWART, now to Trustees for behoof of his Creditors, consisting of Cloths, Corduroys, Printed Cottons, Cambrics, Groceries, &c.  The roup to begin at 10 o'clock forenoon.

- AND - 

The Creditors of the said John Stewart will please lodge their grounds of debt, with oaths of verity thereon, in the hands of his Trustees, William Wilson, and John Watt, Merchants, in Banff, as soon as possible; and all those indebted to John Stewart, will make payment to either of the trustees, within a month from this date, to avoid prosecution.
