The Moderator reported, that he had caused summon Alexander Watson in Portsoy & Jean Pirie in this Parish to attend the meeting of Presbytery at Portsoy on the 6th inst. and that they had both accordingly attended but that the Presbytery had remitted that case to this Kirk Session, to do in it as they might see for edification, & he reported also that he had ordered them to attend the Kirk Session this day: upon being called they both compeared, but pleaded their inability to pay the penalty of Three Guineas demanded of them, upon which for the present they were dismissed.  Closed with prayer.
